Saint Vartan Armenian Church of Mississauga - Stewardship
Jesus knocking at our door

"Everyone should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,  as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." ( 1 Peter 4:10 ).

Stewardship is offering thanksgiving for the many blessings in our life. It is a commitment of our spirit, and our commitment to God. We are called to offer back to our Lord all that we are, and all that we have.

Our commitments of time, talent, and treasure reflect the gifts that we have, and the gifts we can share. All that we have comes from God, and we are called to return a portion to Him, and His Church, in thanksgiving.

Stewardship is returning to God a portion of the gifts that He bestows upon us. We are called to do this as a testament of our faith, in support of God's church as it does the Lord's work in this world.

Stewardship allows the church to be supported by its faithful, rather than relying on unpredictable outside sources of funding. The mission, ministries and activities of St. Vartan Armenian Church of Mississauga are valuable to our parishioners, and the life of our church.

Realistically, the stronger we are financially, the stronger, and more vibrant, our spiritual programming and parish life will be. A pledge commitment is an important way to make the Christ and His church a priority in our lives, and is a living symbol of our care for Christ's church.

Every gift, in every form, given to God is a blessed one, and such generosity and gratitude is critical to one's faith and to the church. Together, we can support St. Vartan's mission, and can sustain, and nurture, our parish, and our spiritual growth.

If you would like to make a stewardship offering, please send it to St. Vartan Armenian Church of Mississauga, P.O. Box 53010, 5100 Erin Mills Parkway, Mississauga, Ontario L6M 5A7. If you have any questions or would like to discuss stewardship, please feel free to contact the Pastor by calling (905) 549-2711 or (905) 617-7888.

May God bless you and may you always know the richness of God's love for us all.

Stewardship Program

Dear Fellow Armenians and friends:

As you may know, the Armenians of Mississauga have always dreamed of having our own church and community center to preserve our cultural and religious heritage. Our church has been the focal point of our heritage since the 4th century. Now, St. Vartan Armenian Church of Mississauga has embarked on the difficult journey of building a church and a community center for the Armenians of the Ontario regons of Halton and Peel. Currently we are in the process of raising funds to make our dream a reality.

This is an appeal to all Armenians who feel strongly about their heritage, and maintaining a sense of identity. Join us to build a place of worship and fellowship to preserve our national identity. We will not only be building a church; we will be building a future, and a means of understanding and maintaining the Armenian heritage for our children.

The purpose of the stewardship program is to include all Armenians (individuals and families) who want to be a part of a group of stewards in support the church, through their monthly contributions. Please be a part of this historic undertaking.

The membership form below is for St. Vartan Armenian Church of Mississauga.  The annual church membership fee is $CDN 100 per family and $CDN 60 per individual.  Please forward your cheque and the completed form to the address shown on the CONTACT US  page.
